Swansea: Grand Theatre | British Youth Music Theatre

Since 1897, Swansea's Grand Theatre has been providing the public with a broad range of cultural, artistic and general entertainment events.  Though The Grand has been greatly renovated over the past twenty years, none of the theatre's unique identity has suffered as a result of this improvement and today's Grand is as full of charm and atmosphere as was the case when the theatre first opened its doors all those years ago.

Grand Theatre, Singleton Street, Swansea SA1 3QJ

Approach Swansea via the M4 leaving the motorway at Junction 42 for Swansea - along Fabian Way, leading to the entrance into the city centre passing the Sainsbury’s store.  Take the right hand lane (alongside Tesco superstore) and turn right at the Traffic lights. After travelling straight on through the next traffic lights turn immediately right into the Pay and Display Car Park to the rear of Grand Theatre. (The theatre is signposted from Sainbury's).

Parking is available in the supervised car park in Singleton Street at the front of the theatre.

Swansea Train Station is situated in High Street.  From here, walk past The Grand Hotel to second set of traffic lights (Argos Superstore will be on your left) and cross over into College Street.  At the first traffic island turn left. Turn right into Oxford Street (McDonalds on corner) - pass by BHS and Marks & Spencer until you reach the junction with F. Hinds Jewellers on your left.  Turn left - you should see the Quadrant Shopping Centre ahead of you.  Pass Burger King and turn right, continue straight ahead until you reach the theatre on your left.

There is a regular bus service from all over the UK to the Quadrant Bus Station alongside the Theatre. As you leave the bus station head down to the main road (Ffordd Y Gorllewin) and follow it to the right toward Western Street. Then turn right onto Singleton Street and the Swansea Grand will be on your right.
