Southampton/Eastleigh: The Point | British Youth Music Theatre

A contemporary arts venue in the heart of the south east, The Point is an international hub for the development of artists. Home of the first UK fully residential Creation Space, The Point has worked with a number of physical theatre performers and dancers including The Balletboyz, Akram Khan and RedCape Theatre.

From the North: Take the M3. At Junction 13 take the A335 exit to Eastleigh and turn right onto Leigh Road. The Point is situated on Leigh Road in approximately 1 mile, to your left at a junction with traffic lights.

From the East: Take the M27 towards Southampton West & Docks/Eastleigh/Winchester. At junction 5, take the A335 exit to Southampton Airport/Eastleigh. At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A335 then go through 1 roundabout. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Blenheim Road. Turn right onto Desborough Rd then turn left onto Leigh Rd. The Point will be on your right at a junction with traffic lights.

From the West: Take the M27 towards London/The Midlands/Winchester/Portsmouth/M3. At junction 4, exit onto M3 toward London/Winchester. At junction 13, take the A335 exit to Eastleigh/Chandler's Ford. Turn right onto Leigh Rd/A335 then turn right onto Leigh Rd. The Point will be on your left, at a junction with traffic lights.

arking is available at the Swan Shopping Centre - The entrance can be found directly off the roundabout at the junction of Southampton Road and Wells Place; a five minute walk from The Point. When leaving the Shopping Centre, turn left down Wells Place and carry on to Desborough Road. Turn right onto Desborough Road, then turn left onto Leigh Road. The Point will be on your right, at a junction with traffic lights overlooking the park.

The Point is a five minute walk from Eastleigh Bus Station that is accessible via a number of lines from Southampton and around the Hampshire area. From the Bus Station walk straight up Leigh Road. The Point is directly in front of you overlooking the park.
