Steve moves seamlessly between the roles of visionary director, award-winning choreographer, and celebrated West End performer. With a career spanning many original West End musicals, grand opera, intimate theatre, and major television productions, Steve has become a highly sought-after creative force in the UK and internationally.
As a director and movement specialist, Steve is known for his versatility and excellence across genres. Directing credits range from new writing, with the recent R&D workshop of Hurts So Good by Louie Wharton as part of the Origins season at the Birmingham Hippodrome, to the European premiere of Elephant and Piggy ‘We are in a play’, to classics like Oliver! and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Chichester Festival Theatre. Â
A graduate of Middlesex University with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts, Steve is also a dedicated educator, lecturing at leading universities and conservatoires. Whether he is shaping the future of new writing, the movement of a grand opera or commanding the stage himself, Steve remains one of the industry’s most dynamic and multifaceted artists.
