Rachel has been a Trustee of BYMT since September 2025 and serves as Environmental Champion. Rachel developed a passion for musical theatre from an early age, but has spent her 20+ year career to date in a different kind of development, in Human Resources. Rachel is current Chief People Officer of Low Carbon Contracts Company, in the renewables space, having previously held similar roles in scale-up organisations, before which she spent her early career working in large global organisations. A proud Yorkshire woman, Rachel is based in the Leeds area and was inspired to support the embedding of BYMT in the region. Rachel is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, through which she mentors other HR Professionals, and a member of Loughborough University Business School Strategic Advisory Board.
