About Lexine

Lexine is a Theatre Director, Actor, and Facilitator, specialising in movement, new musical theatre, and working with young people. As an East Asian migrant artist originally from Hong Kong, she aims to develop better inclusive frameworks to make kind, imaginative, and identity-conscious theatre. At BYMT, Lexine has directed audition days and is also an alumna. Recently, she played Ophelia in Hamlet (Southwark Playhouse), was the Associate Director on Miss Saigon (Sheffield Crucible), Assistant Director on The Good Person of Szechwan (Lyric Hammersmith/ Sheffield Crucible), and Co-Director on The Pied Piper of Hamelin (National Youth Theatre).
