Jackson is a writer and dramaturg based in London. He is a published playwright (PIT, 2020 & Lilac, 2024) and was a lecturer at the National Institute of Dramatic Art teaching Aural Storytelling & Dramaturgy. As a dramaturg he has worked with writers including Tanika Gupta, Liv Hennessy, Oisin Kearney & Mick Patrick, Mufaro Makubika, Alex Young & Kate Marlais. He has supported numerous writing awards including the Untapped Award, Women’s Prize for Playwriting and the Theatre503 International Playwriting Award. Jackson is currently under commission with Zoo Co and New Earth Theatre.Â
Jackson also works in Artistic Development for Concord Theatricals, a publishing and licensing company with an enviable catalogue of plays and musicals, including The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, Cowbois, Is God Is, The Lehman Trilogy as well as musicals like Six, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Operation Mincemeat.
