Elinor is a writer, composer, lyricist, actor and multi-instrumentalist based between her home on the Isle of Skye and Birmingham where she grew up. Her recent folk musical Elbow Deep, commissioned by Birmingham Hippodrome, premiered in concert performances at Shedinburgh Festival both in Edinburgh and at the Young Vic. Her song, Skylines from this musical has been nominated for the Stiles and Drewe Best New Song Prize at the Other Palace, London.
As an actor she is appearing in Ceilidh‘s national tour and recently performed in No Such Thing As Wolves (Birmingham Hippodrome), my lover was a salmon in the climate apocalypse (Wuzhen Theatre Festival, Pleasance Edinburgh, The Cockpit) and Red Side of the Moon (Iris Theatre).
She was also music director/supervisor on the Royal Shakespeare Company’s Pericles and Macbeth, Radiant Boy (Southwark Playhouse) and REVERB (Almeida) and performed as a musician for Emilia, Titus Andronicus and The Comedy of Errors at Shakespeare’s Globe.
