Caitlyn is an Aussie Musical Theatre Writer and Dramaturg who is ecstatic to be back with BYMT after previously working with them to premiere punk-rock music WHEN WE STRIKE by Amir Shoenfeld and herself at Southwark Playhouse. Amir and Caitlyn are continuing to develop their musical OTTO WEIDT’S BRUSH AND BROOM WORKSHOP FOR THE BLIND with the support of Arts Council England and House of Oz, and were awarded the first Cameron Mackintosh Foundation writing team residency at Theatr Clwyd. Commissioned to write a touring musical and the Clubhouse dance programme for International Dance Technique, Caitlyn’s work has been featured on BBC Radio 2, Project Broadway and Bite-Sized Broadway. She has taught writing for musical theatre at Goldsmiths University and The Royal Central School for Speech and Drama, and reads as a Dramaturg for production companies and freelance writers.
