Susannah Pearse

Susannah is a member of Mercury Musical Developments and a graduate of New York University’s Musical Theatre Writing Programme.

Theatre includes The Stationmaster with Tim Connor, The 45th Marvellous Chatterley Village Fete with Rebecca Applin (licensed by Perfect Pitch musicals), Wonderland with Gyles Brandreth, Rapunzel with Youn Young Park (Singapore Repertory Theatre), The Emperor’s Quest also with Park (awarded a discretionary award by Musical Theatre Matters for its work developing musical theatre for young people), Pride and Prejudice (The Forgotten Bennet sister) with Kate Ferguson, Farm! with Robert Hudson, The Diary of a Nobody with John Finnemore, and lyrics for Sherlock Holmes (The Early Years), book by Kate Ferguson with Robert Hudson, music by Jared M. Dembowski (awarded the Theatre for the American Musical Award at the New York Musical Festival).

Publications include The Night Before Christmas with Matthew White and Ana Sanderson (published by A & C Black) and How Grandmother Spider Stole the Sun with Youn Young Park (published by Mondo).

Susannah also writes the music for the songs on John Finnemore’s Souvenir Programme on Radio 4.
