Paul Kessell Holland

Paul trained as a composer, singer and conductor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has worked as a session singer in various genres, musical director, conductor and composer. He has worked at various musical theatre training schools, and is external examiner in Musical Theatre at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. As a composer he has written for film (award winner Austin TX Film Festival), theatre (Means of Escape, Pro Patria, The Crucible, Psychosis 4.48, The Creation of the World and Other Business). Musical Theatre writing includes Coastliners (with Nicholas Scrivens and Joanne Harris), The Gathering Storm, City Girls and The House in the Country. For BYMT Paul composed Fagin for BYMT’s 2015 Summer Season and The Setting Sun, both with Nicholas Scrivens.
