Mei Mac

Mei Mac is an actress and theatre maker. Mei is currently starring in Kimber Lee's UNTITLED F*CK M*SS S**GON PLAY at the Young Vic directed by Roy Alexander Weiss. She most recently starred as the lead role 'Mei' in the world premiere stage adaptation of MY NEIGHBOUR TOTORO, co-produced by the RSC, Improbable, Studio Ghibli & Nippon TV. She has received Olivier Award and WhatsOnStage Award nominations for her performance. 

Prior to that, Mei starred as the lead Ling in new series COMEDY CENTRAL'S EAST MODE. She was also the guest lead in the Christmas Special of CALL THE MIDWIFE for the BBC. 

Mei has extensive theatre experience and has worked with RSC, Young Vic, Bridge Theatre and Shakespeare's Globe. In 2010, she was a part of the BYMT cast of The Savage.
