Ellis Kerkhoven
Ellis is a director, actor and writer. He trained at The Guildford School Of Acting winning the G.S.A. Acting Award and receiving scholarships from Sir Anthony Hopkins and Michael Redgrave.
As a performer Ellis has performed in plays and musicals in the West End, National Tours and overseas. He is part of The Authentic Artist Collective and is passionate about collaborative theatre.
His production of Nursery Crimes (co-written and co-directed with Kate Golledge) recently premiered at Singapore Repertory Company, where his previous production of Charlotte’s Web was nominated for the Straits Time’s Theatre Award. Writer/Director work for BYMT include: Children of the New Forest, Maelstrom - Legends of the Underworld, The Midnight Flower Press, Sleepy Hollow, A Drug Called Love, The Forest and Vortex.
Other theatre projects include: Freak or Unique? Harringey Shed, Bertie Brown’s Bits’n’Bob Shop, British Museum, Storms, Menier Gallery, The dark dark, Theatre503 and Texas Rose, Arts Theatre.
