Christopher Ash

Christopher Ash is a Composer, Sound Designer and Musical Director. He is Assistant Musical Director and a founding member of of the Olivier Award Winning musical Showstopper! The Improvised Musical. Christopher's composing credits include Wasted (West Yorkshire Playhoue), Lucky Petra (NYPA, Provincetown Playhouse New York), The Borrowers (MAC), Three Witch3s (Belgrade Theatre) and film scores for The Mandrake Root (European Drama Network) and About a Girl (Alex Kirkland). Chris improvises live electronic soundscapes for The Society of Strange and has improvised keyboards for Mischief Movie Night, Austentatious, The Bristol Old Vic 30hr Improvathon and others. He trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama and teaches at Central School of Speech and Drama, Drama Studio London and the Royal Academy of Music.
