Tali Foxworthy-Bowers

Tali Foxworthy-Bowers is a choreographer and movement director based in South East London. Tali grew up in Edinburgh where she trained from a young age in many forms of dance including ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop and contemporary. Alongside her dance training she studied music, singing and drama, where she nurtured her passion for choreography and theatre. She moved to London to explore her choreographic interest through her studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. Here she performed and choreographed under the guidance of industry professionals: Struan Leslie, Rachel Birch Lawson, Lizzie Kew-Ross and Tansuree Shankar (with Abundant Art).

Tali’s work now spans contemporary dance, physical theatre and movement direction. She has worked in a multitude of different platforms including screen dance (including music videos for Deco and Eliza Oakes), fashion, theatre (alongside Paul Roseby with National Youth Theatre) and has choreographed on two British Youth Musical Theatre summer camps. In 2019, she choreographed an original full-length contemporary ballet Snow White: Reimagined. Tali has been associate choreographer for Edinburgh based film and media company: High Tide for 3 years. Over lockdown Tali received mentoring sessions from renowned choreographer Darragh O’Leary, and has also developed her interest in the human body further by becoming a qualified STOTT pilates instructor.

She is currently starring in her 1-woman show, Monoslogue, using physical theatre and spoken word to spread awareness of chronic pain based on her personal experience of it.
