The material being developed at this camp will be Rumple, a re-interpretation of the Grimm Tale Rumplestiltskin by Jude Obermüller (Composer & Musical Director) and David Gomez (Writer & Lyricist). This piece will include exploration around Rumpelstiltskin and others as characters who are disabled, and will explore and re-imagine how disabled characters are represented in fairy tales, as well as many other rich creative themes. Therefore, for the development of the piece, we are keen to welcome disabled young people, and specifically young people of short stature. We will be holding an inclusive space for all young people to engage with these topics, drawing on the process of Open Space and devising. The creative team on this project also includes Flo O'Mahony (Director) and Simeon Campbell (Choreographer).
