Sarah brings a wide perspective of music education, including experience as Senior Leader in a Music Hub, a classroom teacher and an instrumental teacher. She currently supports Primary, Secondary and Special schools to improve their quality of music education through delivering training and supportive conversations with Senior Leaders in school and oversees the singing, instrumental and curriculum strategy at Leicestershire Music.
Inclusion is held at the heart of Sarah’s working approach and she is currently leading on the national inclusion programme Flourish! for Inclusion Leads and has completed Executive Coaching training from Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Sarah is a mum who is passionate about the arts. All three of her girls have enjoyed weekly dance and instrumental lessons, and she saw the joy of what music and dance can bring by introducing the arts to foster children that joined her family. Sarah has seen first hand how BYMT delivers high quality training and aspiration through her daughter being part of the BYMT company who has since successfully navigated her way through the performing arts audition process at diploma and degree level.
