Elizabeth Karani

Elizabeth is a Soprano Opera Singer who performs globally.

Elizabeth studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and the National Opera Studio.
She is a Park Lane Group Young Artist and an Equilibrium Young Artist and has won several prestigious awards.

Her opera appearances include: Tatyana (Eugene Onegin) for Mid Wales Opera, Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus) for Diva Opera, Musetta (La Bohème) for Opera Holland Park as a Christine Collins Young Artist, Jano (Jenufa) for Longborough Festival Opera, Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) for Festival Azuriales, Jay (The Cunning Little Vixen) for Garsington Opera, Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) at Aldeburgh, Resi (Intermezzo), Angel (Jephtha) and Rutilia (Lucio Papirio Dittatore) for Buxton Festival, Serpina (La Serva Padrona) and Lucy (The Telephone) for The Opera Box, Tartagliona (The Little Green Swallow) for British Youth Opera, Isabella (L'Inganno Felice) at West Green House Opera.

Elizabeth also recently made her Royal Opera debut as Nanna / Embla in The Monstrous Child, as well as her English National Opera and Regent's Park Open Air Theatre debut as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel.

Elizabeth started out on our Summer Camps in 2004, before starring in Monte Cristo (2005) and as Elizabeth in Frankenstein (2006-2008).
