Information for Parents

We are committed to creating an environment where the safety, welfare and development of our young people is our ultimate priority. Download our Information Pack below for detailed information on how we run our projects.

24 hour pastoral team

Our dedicated Pastoral Team – made up of one Pastoral Lead and three experienced team members – is available 24 hours a day during a project to provide continuous practical and emotional support. These caring professionals are well-versed in working with young people and are there to ensure that every young person feels safe, supported, and cared for throughout their time with us.

For children aged 11–15, the team acts in loco parentis, and for those aged 16 and over, we maintain a clear and compassionate duty of care, ensuring their health, comfort, and wellbeing at all times.

Our Pastoral Team is overseen by Joshua Gordon, our Outreach and Welfare Manager, who also serves as the Designated Safeguarding Lead. All staff working directly with young people are fully DBS-checked, and we operate under comprehensive safeguarding policies that reflect our deep commitment to the safety and welfare of everyone involved in our projects.

Bursary Scheme & Payment Plans

All our course fees are heavily subsidised by the funding we receive. Furthermore, we operate a Bursary Scheme for Productions that offers bursaries of up to 95% of the course fees. Anyone who has a gross household income of up to £40,000 per year is eligible to apply.

All course fees can be broken down into smaller instalments across several months, and we are very happy to consider longer payment plans. If funding assistance or advice would be helpful, please call the office on 0113 320 1018. We are always available to discuss options and are committed to ensuring we limit any barriers to a young person’s involvement.
