The theatre doesn’t have parking facilities but there is a 50 space car park around the corner from the theatre on Lambhay Hill.
If you’re travelling from the North, take the A386. Head south on Tavistock Rd/A386 toward Great Berry Rd, continue to follow A386, keep left to continue on Outland Rd/A386, continue to follow A386, go through 1 roundabout, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Cobourg St/A374, turn right onto Charles St/A374, at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Exeter St, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Kinterbury St, turn right onto Buckwell St, turn right onto Vauxhall St/B3240, continue to follow B3240, take the 2nd left onto Hoegate St, turn left onto Lambhay Hill, turn left onto Castle St, destination will be on the left. Head west on The Pkwy/A38, take the A386 ramp to A374/City centre/Tavistock/Torpoint, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit, merge onto A386 via the ramp to A374/City Centre/Plymouth/Argyle/Torpoint/Seaport, keep left to continue on Outland Rd/A386, continue to follow A386, go through 1 roundabout, at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Cobourg St/A374, turn right onto Charles St/A374, at the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Exeter St, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Kinterbury St, turn right onto Buckwell St, turn right onto Vauxhall St/B3240, continue to follow B3240, take the 2nd left onto Hoegate St, turn left onto Lambhay Hill, , turn left onto Castle St, destination will be on the left. Take the bus towards Barbican. From here, the Theatre is signposted opposite the statue of the Prawn on the SW Coast Path, up a small alleyway.
20 minute walk from Plymouth Station: As you leave the station, turn left onto North Rd E toward Glen Park Avenue. Take a slight right toward Royal Parade and take the stairs. Turn right toward Royal Parade and then cross Royal Parade.
Take a sharp left toward Notte Street, then turn right toward Notte Street and when you reach Notte Street turn left onto it. Turn right onto Hoegate Street, then turn left onto Lambhay Hill. Turn left onto Castle Street and the Barbican will be on your left.
