Tonbridge School was founded in 1553 by Sir Andrew Judde, under Letters Patent of King Edward VI. The Charter ordained that the Governors of the school after the death of the Founder were to be the Worshipful Company of Skinners, one of the oldest City Livery Companies. The modern proscenium arch theatre seats 370 people in comfort, with excellent panoramic views throughout and very good disabled access. It is a highly adaptable theatre with a large stage, orchestra pit, advanced lighting, sound and audio-visual facilities. Also situated within the complex is a Studio Theatre, with seating for up to 90, which is well suited to small-scale and experimental performances.

Head to the Tonbridge School website for directions.
