Sarah is a director whose heart lies with physical performance, bringing together text, movement and music, enjoying original devised work, new takes on classics and opera.

Following a degree in Theatre and Performance at the University of Warwick she developed through the JMK director's programme. She has since directed for Theatre 503, Salisbury Playhouse and Arts Centre, Fulham Opera, coached actors at Chichester Festival Theatre and produced work through her own company Sister Sarah, promoting positive social change. Her show Stories of Serendipity was warmly recieved as: "theatre that has a quiet magic to it, and brings out your sense of wonder". Her dance opera "The Bridge of Magpies" was performed at The Place, London as part of the Tete a Tete New Opera Festival, critics praised the power of storytelling through movement. 

For BYMT Sarah has acted as Outreach Director, run multiple musical theatre workshops and directed musical versions of fantasy adventures The Never Ending Story and The Golden Compass.
