Lizzie Crarer

Lizzie is a theatre practitioner and a performer. She is a currently devising and directing a new play about a forgotten World War One journalist for her company, The Heroine Project Presents. As a performer she has worked with directors such as Trevor Nunn, Peter Hall, Nancy Meckler and Justin Audibert; and her acting credits include Cymbeline (Cambridge Arts Theatre); The Browning Version (Theatre Royal Bath), Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Haymarket Theatre), Bronte (Shared Experience for Tricycle Theatre and Oxford Playhouse), The Disappearance of Sadie Jones (Tricycle Theatre and tour), Othello and Hamlet (Watermill Theatre). Last year she co-devised and toured a solo show about the suffragette Emily Wilding Davison. Lizzie is also a member of the Natural Theatre Company in Bath, which specializes in creating outdoor site-specific performance. She has worked with young people on projects for the Natural Theatre, Rose Theatre Kingston, the Watermill Theatre, the Egg Theatre Bath, Shared Experience and Shooting Roots; and assisted Kath Burlinson on BYMT’s production Triptych.
