Heather Douglas

Heather has just finished working with an all star cast on a JERRY HERMAN revue at The Other Palace. Other UK choreographic credits are: Spend Spend Spend,(Union Theatre) and CASA VALENTINA(Southwark Playhouse); ALICE IN WONDERLAND, VERTIGO, LOVING APRIL, and DANCING IN MY DREAMS, for the Oxford Theatre Company. The recent versions of MORT(Rose Theatre, Kingston), PETER PAN(Greenwich Theatre) and Burnt Out Souls(Riverside Studios), TRIPTYCH(Belfast, LYRIC), and BACHELOR GIRLS(Plymouth),for Youth Music Theatre. For Qudos Ent., Heather has choreographed numerous pantos all over the UK. Heather has also choreographed and directed numerous musicals in the US, including Anything Goes, Oklahoma!, Gypsy, CATS, and BYE BYE BIRDIE.   Internationally, she has directed/choreographed, PARIS PLUME ,in Beijing, for the LIDO, Paris and Straco Creation Company and is currently working on Paris Plume the Musical!

As an Associate Choreographer to Craig Revel Horwood, credits include Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks (Theatre Royal Haymarket); South Pacific (Grange Park Opera); Once Upon A Time, celebration of Hans Christen Anderson(Endemol, Denmark); Beautiful and Damned (Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Ave.); My One and Only (Chichester and The Piccadilly Theatre, London); Calamity Jane (Shaftsbury Theatre & UK Tour); Il Travatore (Rotterdam). Heather was also assistant/resident choreographer to Larry Fuller for JFK the Musical in Dublin.
Heather’s UK credits as a performer include: The Producers (Theatre Royal),understudying and performing the leading role of Ulla; Lois in Beautiful& Damned (Lyric Theatre); the original West End production of Chicago, where she also understudied and played Velma; My One and Only in both London and Chichester, understudying and playing Edythe, and Cats as Bombalurina at the New London Theatre. Heather was also a featured performer in the film DELOVELY with Kevin Kline.

Some of Heather’s American performance theatre credits include the Broadway productions of Tommy Tune’s, The Will Rogers Follies; Mike Ockrant& Susan Stroman’s, Crazy For You; Jekyll and Hyde; the 1st national tour and Berlin production of Crazy For You; Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors; Rapunzel in Into the Woods; Cassie in A Chorus Line; Nickie in Sweet Charity and Disney MGM Studio’s, Beauty and the Beast and HOLLYWOOD HOLLYWOOD .
