Originally from Winnipeg, Alicia graduated from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre and further trained at The Martha Graham School (NYC). She danced with the Nancy Hauser Dance Company (USA) performing modern works by Hanya Holm, (Rat-a Tat) among others. Upon moving to the UK, she completed an MA (Laban) and PGCE (Royal Academy of Dance). Alicia has performed as a freelance dance UK artist (Battersea Arts Centre, The Place, QEH), in adverts and within operas (ENO, ROH). Alicia is on Faculty at The Urdang Academy (contemporary technique) and is an Animateur for Rambert Dance Company. She was recipient 2014 of The Lisa Ullmann Award travelling to Tokyo. Her Choreography was commissioned for The Activation Trust, Kenya (2013) and was awarded West London Momentum Dance Artist 2009. Her love of music and theatre has led to work in opera.
