A BYMT Convention: Careers in New Music Theatre

Location: The Other Palace Studio and Café
An event for young people aged 11-21, the BYMT Convention features sessions curated by BYMT’s Young Company Panel, including discussions on creating your own show, building a career in theatre and an open mic slot for original musical material by current BYMT participants. If you would like to perform, please send one minute of your song to cerysjones@bymt.org. Please note that each session includes the Q&A panel and the improvised creation of a new musical. - BYMT Convention Session 2 (2pm-5pm). Book through this webpage. Price for 1 ticket is £25.
- BYMT Convention Session 1 & 2 (11am-5pm). Book through this webpage. Price for 1 ticket is £40.
The daytime event will be followed by The BYMT Gala: 20 Years on Stage, a concert in the evening that will feature songs from across the company’s history performed by alumni artists including Grace Mouat, Lewis Cornay and Kayleigh Mcknight reprising BYMT roles. If you buy a ticket to the Gala, you can get a discount on the Convention Sessions, which will cost just £15!
