Simon is a Director, working across Theatre and Film. He trained in Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Bristol, including study at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), USA.

As a Director, he has directed Michael Morpurgo's Why The Whales Came (Workshop, British Youth Music Theatre), The Sad Club (Artsdepot), Oh My Nellie Bly (Bridewell Theatre), Infinite Joy (Southwark Playhouse), Viva La Revolución (Upstage, Alicante), MI 5PY (BYMT), The Grand Budapest Hotel (BYMT), Sitting With Thistle (Lion & Unicorn Theatre), Robin Hood (Cohen Theatre) and Something’s Got to Give (Wickham Theatre).

He has also worked extensively as an Associate, Assistant and Resident Director, working on productions including The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 (Ambassadors Theatre, Menier Chocolate Factory & Curve), the Olivier Award winning In The Heights (Kings Cross Theatre & Southwark Playhouse), the original West End run of American Idiot (Arts Theatre), Seussical (Lyric Theatre, Hong Kong), Lost Boy (Finborough & Charing Cross Theatre), Theatre Uncut (Young Vic), Soul Music (Rose Theatre Kingston), Secret Love (UK Tour) and The Drowning Pond (Lemon Tree).

As a Screen Producer/Director, he has worked on short films and with clients including The BRIT Awards, Penguin Random House Children's and The Times & Sunday Times.
